Worldtree

This artwork accompanies me for a long time now ... it started with the idea how i would re- interpret the depiction of the worldtree from the norse mythology. I wanted to translate this into a scifi environment and i endet up with imagine body of the titan Odin used to build the tree as giant living spaceship from an ancient species with goodlike powers that Odin later reshaped into this structure.
